Terms of use

These terms cover the PlantSowGrow app and website ("PlantSowGrow", "we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it.

The free app

PlantSowGrow is free to use. A free account can keep up to 12 active plants, 30 photos and one garden; plant guides, task planning and reminders are never limited. Archived plants do not count towards the limit.

PlantSowGrow Plus

PlantSowGrow Plus is optional and removes those limits and adds extra features: several gardens, a harvest log with yearly stats, succession sowing reminders, your own plants and share cards without our branding. It is offered as:

• Monthly or yearly subscription — paid through your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial — where a free trial is offered (for example 7 days with the yearly plan), the subscription starts at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy.
• Lifetime — a single payment for Plus with no end date, for as long as PlantSowGrow is offered.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and include any taxes the store charges.

Managing and cancelling

You can see, change or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or from Settings → PlantSowGrow Plus in the app. After cancelling you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your PlantSowGrow account does not cancel a subscription.

Plus belongs to your PlantSowGrow account, so it works on every phone you sign in on, on iPhone and Android. Use "Restore purchases" in the app if it does not appear.

Refunds

Payments are taken by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their policies: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or Google Play's order history for Android. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If Plus ends

Nothing you made is deleted. Your plants, photos, gardens, harvests and own plants stay in your account and keep working, and their jobs and reminders continue. You just can't add more than the free limits allow until you have Plus again.

Price and feature changes

We may change prices or what Plus includes. A price change for an existing subscription only applies from a later renewal, and the App Store or Google Play will tell you beforehand as their rules require. We won't take away the free features listed above for existing users.

Gardening advice

Sowing dates, frost dates and care instructions are general guidance based on typical conditions and historical weather for your area. Gardens, weather and seed varieties vary, so use your own judgement — we can't guarantee results or accept liability for crop losses.

Your account and content

Your garden data and photos are yours. You give us permission to store and copy them only to run the service, as described in our privacy policy. Please don't misuse the service, try to break it or upload anything unlawful; we may suspend accounts that do.
